Global Warming

We are surrounded by fumes. Fumes of toxic chemicals and burning fossil fuels. A once luscious and green earth is slowly decaying into nothing but imperishable plastic and unhealthy pollution. The dictionary meaning of global warming: “ A gradual increase in temperature of Earth’s atmosphere caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide and other pollutants”. The reality of it is different. People being harmed by pollution, polar bears losing homes, and oceans being invaded by plastic is the real deal. On one hand, people benefit from burning fossil fuels and cutting down trees. On the other hand, carbon dioxide levels are increasing and glaciers are slowly melting. A few scientists recognize this as a problem and are taking precautions. Their new way of fighting off climate change is decreasing the use of fossil fuels and factory use. Using renewable energy and limiting cutting down trees is said to give us more time. Global warming is a dangerous thing. The human race made a mistake. Now it’s up to all of us to learn from this mistake and restore Earth to its glory.
