Lockdown

Today, in this spring morning,
Being in lockdown is ripping me away from freedom
I do not think that
staying indoors gives one many opportunities
I believe that
being shut inside makes me feel like helpless bird in a cage
It is not true that
this is making us healthier,
In my opinion,
the more I'm away from fresh air, I get more insane
It is a lie to say
this will get better soon and be normal
Yes
I have lost all hope
I refuse to believe
there is a silver lining to every situation
I believe that
being trapped in a whirlwind of chaos, away from the rays of the sun, is cruel.
I don't think
I am happy to be living in this state
Today, this spring morning.
