My brain registers the word,
My heart skips a beat.
My lungs take a deep breath,
My stomach churns.
My eyes see the battle field,
Lying in ruins.
Pain oozes through me,
Soreness over comes me.
My friends lie,
Gasping for air,
My enemy still stands,
Stronger than ever.
Every hero has a flaw,
Mine is loyalty.
A huge decision must be made,
For I am now 16.
The Great Prophecy,
Now underway.
Titans or Gods,
I must pave the way.
These are the thoughts,
That run through my mind,
As I read a book called,
The Last Olympian.
